NAN TANDOORI — Restaurant in Sendai

I'm unsure what to rate the food at.

On one hand, the chicken honey tasted excellent, and other things tasted good, nothing was offensive. On the other hand, I had a rough time digesting the food (probably because I ate too much 😂).

The owner is very kind and generous, he likes to talk with costumers, you can see the passion of food in his eyes.

My favorite thing (other than honey chicken) is the nan bread.

One of the worst biryanis I’ve had since coming to Japan. The meat used in both the biryani and the butter chicken curry was the same, which was already surprising — but worse, it was undercooked and tasted awful. 🤢 To make matters worse, the utensils served were not clean.

Overall, I had a very disappointing experience. I personally do not recommend this place. There are plenty of better options that offer tastier food, better hygiene, and good service at a reasonable price....

A very good halal restaurant with a friendly owner. He was kind enough to teach me all sorts of things about living in this area. The flavors were absolutely wonderful, they give you a choice of spiciness level, and the prices are not high considering the low demand for halal food. The only downside was that the naan bread, although delicious, was too gigantic (I got a heartburn from eating the whole thing). I wish they served cheaper and...
