Visited the Anpanman Museum in Sendai with my 4-year-old daughter and family friends, and she had the time of her life! From the moment we walked in, she was running from one exhibit to the next, completely mesmerized by the colorful play areas, interactive displays, and fun character statues. The live performances were also a huge hit!
Right at the entrance, there’s an adorable bakery selling character-shaped bread, which was almost too cute to eat. Outside, there are several open spaces for kids to run around, plus a frozen bead ice cream shop and a few restaurants to choose from. We had lunch at the retro diner-style café, where everything from the plates to the food was Anpanman-themed—such a fun touch for the kids!

There is a small café if you need a snack or caffeine. The tickets cost 1200 yen (~11 dollars) for kids and adults alike....
