桜の名所らしい 私が来た時は5/26なので新緑も終わって青々とした森 直前の坂の勾配が結構あるので自転車は相当きついと思うが距離は短め 駐車場がとにかく狭く、対面で駐車場出来るように見えて実際は片側に車が止まったらその正面に駐車するのは軽自動車かバイクじゃなければまず不可能 駐車場から城跡地までの距離は殆どなく、多少は勾配があるがきっちり整備されているので足元はしっかりしている 『鶴が森歴史愛好会』なる団体のたてた立て札があちこちにあり、本丸を一巡するコースを整備してある 公園自体は上下に二段に分かれており、本丸の跡地であろう上段は結構大きめな広場になっていてここが桜の名所らしく、ベンチが何点か設置されていた 下段は新しく桜を植えたらしく、まだまだ綺麗に整うのは数十年後になると思う

4月7日　桜は散り始め三割くらい散っていますが、まだまだ楽しめます。山の上にあり上り口が分かりにくいですが、10台分くらい車が停められる駐車場（無料）があります。山の上まで行くのに10分くらいかかりますが、桜吹雪を見ながら結構いい感じでした。 福島に全く同じ名前の公園がありますが、こちらは元々は松森城と呼ばれていた様です。
