A very nice but small piece of Japanese history that has been preserved very well over the years. It is one of the smaller castles located in Japan. I found it a little disappointing to see how some of the castle property is currently occupied by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. There is no fee for admission and the workers will give you a very informative tour of the...

Really nice free attraction. Unfortunately, most of the castle is no longer standing, and part of the original grounds is taken up by a Japan Self-Defense Force base, but it's still worth a visit. If compared with another castles in Japan, this castle is considered as small. But it's still worth to visit. The staffs are really kind and helpful, don't forget to ask the stamps. You can enter the castle or just walk around the castle. The locals are also very kind. There is a small souvenir shop in the front of the entrance gate. Nice place to visit if you...
