The worst zoo I have ever seen. Animals without proper space, absolutly bored and apathetic. I can not believe that this zoo is still opened and people like it. Deer in a such a small space without grass, same with giraffe, which is just the only one on such a small space again. One of the worst view I have ever had. But the most terrified was to watch those elephants. How is it possible, that people like such a tyranny? Elephant is such a huge animal, why are they on such a small area? They can not even move properly! Terrible. And on the top of this there is a little baby chimpanzee displayed for show in a small cage on the front side of a little bit bigger cage. All alone. Displayed like a toy in a shop! We did not even get to tigers or lions, because we were so frustrated and sad. We could not watch it anymore, we just had to leave immediately.
I am really sad that I had to see something like this in 21th century. I am angry, that I gave my money for this thing. I am terrified of those visitors who are happy to see that.
Sorry for my english, it is not my...
Read moreI wish I could write a zero star revieq, because the experience was so horrible. Animals have barely any space to move, monkey cages are tiny, they barely had any space to move not to say run or jump around. Hyenas were separated, one was lying on the ground totally apathetic towards anyone, the other was constantly pacing in front of the small glass that lined its cage. Big animals like elephants, a giraffe and a buffalo had the smallest spaces. All the animals seemed to be already resigned to their fates, the buffalo and giraffe weren't moving, the two elephants were both doing repetitive movements. Despite there being max. 2 animals in a cage, I saw that they had scratches and wounds in various states of healing, some were just scars, which confused me. How can an animal injure themselves unless it has been driven insane by its surroundings. I left the zoo after a half an hour and my friends were in tears, and I felt like throwing up. I was so upset about the conditions and space these animals have to spend...
Read moreIt's probably fun for children to see the animals up close, but for me it was depressing, specially the baby chimpanzee and the tiger and lion. They looked so sad and lonely, I wanted to cry. The cages of the hyenas were way too small for such big animals. They need a big space where they can run. The pool where they keep the polar bears is also very small. I have visited the aquariums of Sea Paradise in Yokohama and Nagoya and I didn't feel this sad for the polar bears. You need to make improvements to your facilities so the animals feel more free to move. Probably I would never return to this zoo unless my son gets bigger and he asks me to, but then I will have to explain to him that it's not good for the animals to be in such...
