Nakamoto Beach — Attraction in Taketomi

This beach is really great for snorkeling, bathing and sun bathing. A little kioskee operated by the same family that owns the bike rental provides drinks, some minor snacks, and shaved ice during summer. Swimming and snorkeling equipment can be rented here as well. A hut provides some shade and some public toilets can be found here too. Beware of the relentless sun. Also, be aware of marked differences in the shoreline due to the tidal mivement and that thus part of the beach is not accessible on dry foot...

Really good snorkelling beach. Only able to snorkel during low tide and you can check it with the locals.Be careful when going snorkelling as you might enter the water from the shallow end and for that I'd recommend renting boots which I didn't rent.
