A nice lighthouse with a good view of the nearby Islands and faraway mountains. If the weather is clear you can Mount Fuji. In my picture on a cloudy day we had a partial view of Mount Fuji. The climb up to the lighthouse is short and easy. Parking is sparse and if you want to park further and walk. Worth a stop by if you are nearby

最寄り駅 JR内房線 館山駅よりバスで30分位 洲埼灯台前下車から徒歩で10分位 観覧は無料 トイレは灯台手前に公衆トイレ有り 房総半島南部で最も西の場所にある灯台である。円筒形のコンクリート造で建てられ、塔頂は地上から約15メートル、灯火は海面から約45メートルにある。1919年（大正8年）に点灯した。 洲埼灯台は、三浦半島最南端の東端にある剱埼灯台と共に東京湾へ出入りする船舶の目印となっており、同灯台とを結んだ線をもって東京湾の境界をなす。との事です。 房総半島の最西端との事で行って見ました。東京湾の境界を示すだけ有り白く立派な灯台です。灯台下の道に休憩処（食事処）が有りますが周りは基本的に民家で静かでした。灯台へ向う途中に分かれ道があり祠と石仏がありました。 ガスってる日に行ったので残念ですが晴れた日は絶景だと思います。冬の方が良く見えるかも。富士山も見える様ですね。

現在は恐らくコロナ禍より灯台へは行けなくなっています。 小さいけれどもなかなか景色がよく楽しい灯台なのですが残念なところです。 階段を登って行くと灯台へは行けませんが、洲崎帝釈天様へお参りする事はできますのでご挨拶して、抜群の海の景色を撮影させて頂いたら如何かと思います。 灯台の写真は階段降りるときが最も近くて綺麗に撮影出来ると思います。 あとは灯台方向に入ったところにあるトイレの辺りも灯台の撮影スポットですが、ちょっと距離が遠すぎます。 灯台の階段の下に小さな商店があります。 コロナ禍が原因かわかりませんが私が訪れたときにはお休みでした。 こちらで少し甘いものをいただいてのんびりできますのでよろしければお寄りになってはいかがかと思います。

洲崎灯台 館山市 2022/07/23 房総半島最西端の灯台。 この灯台の前の芝生がAKB48の『会いたかった』のPV撮影場所。 灯台の近くまで車では行けない。 高台の下に民間の駐車場があるので、そこへ車を停めて、階段を登っていく。 バイアフリーではないので、足腰弱い人は難しいかな。 階段登って行くと途中で左右に分かれて、左が灯台へ登る階段。 右が帝釈天へ向かう階段。 帝釈天の方へ向かうと「帝釈天参道 これぞ絶景必見」「夕日が丘富士見台 これぞ絶景必見」と煽ってくるけど、景色は灯台からの方が360度見渡せるし個人的にはお薦め。
