KODOMONOKUNI is a vast playground located in Yokohama City. Upon arrival, be prepared for a bit of a walk from the parking area. If you’re visiting with children, bringing a stroller or a cart can be a lifesaver for the trek ahead.

The park features a circular path with athletic play equipment spaced every 10-20 meters, ensuring that children have a variety of activities to enjoy without getting bored. The presence of a small stream, perfect for water play, adds to the charm, offering a refreshing respite during the summer months. While it’s unclear if the stream is man-made or natural, it’s a hit with the kids either way.

KODOMONOKUNI is not just about play; it also houses a zoo, a pool, and leisure facilities with plenty of playground equipment. A visit to the livestock farm managed by Snow Brand is a must, where you can try the special Sungreen milk and ice cream.

The park is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with last entry at 3:30 PM. During August, the hours extend to 5:00 PM1. Most of us do not know about this location, because it is famous for kids. This place is particularly for kids where they can have full day fun. Kids are free to scribble with chalk at the entry location. Many kids oriented rides where for most of the rides adults are also allowed. So it is a parent child combo kind of thing. If we need to experience how to milk the cow, then we need to go early and get tickets. We can ride pony and horse but after standing in a queue. They have train kind of sequence car which will round the whole park for 20mins duration. A mini zoo is there, you can pet few animals and you can even buy foods for those animal and feed them.
