①Access from Tokyo It takes 1 hour and 40 minutes from Tokyo Station to Ontake Station via Chuo Line and Ome Line. 15 minutes walk from Ontake Station. ②Cost Train fare 1110yen. Entrance fee for bait fishing: 3,600 yen, rental rod: 400 yen, bait: 600 yen. Stove 1,800 yen. ③ Review Fishing pond using the Tama River as it is. Fishing pond using the Tama River as it is. The area is separated for lure and bait fishing, so you can fish with peace of mind. You can forget about the time and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains of Okutama and the beautiful upper stream of the Tama River. You can also enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains of Okutama and the upper stream of Tama River. For beginners You can also enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains of Okutama and the upper stream of Tama River. The staff will process the rainbow trout you catch, and you can rent a barbecue set and grill them by the river. Re This is a valuable leisure activity that can be enjoyed by train from Tokyo.

Just over 2 hours out of Tokyo by train and then a short hike of 1.5km through a beautiful riverside path from the station. Be sure to ask the tourist information center for the entry point as its just nearby but may be hard to spot. This place is a must visit for all fishos. The river is pristine and has many beautiful vistas. There is fishing options for all levels and you can rent a bbq pit for a small amount to cook your fish by the riverside as you fish. Rod and equipment rental is available. Lots of flies and spinners available but other equipment is limited. Another important note is that they accept cash only and no card/IC so be sure to bring cash. On my trip the entry for 'lure & fly' area was ¥3700 and bbq pits available by size (¥500/¥1000) All in all I really enjoyed myself. 10/10 will go again!

My first fishing experience in Japan. A bit pricey to fish for one day, 3800 yen which equals about $35 dollars. There were tons of fish, like 100 per hole, but most didn't bite. I only caught 4 while I was there. Also, there's only a short section to fish for spin fisherman and another short section for Tenkara fisherman. In a couple hours you can cover the whole place. On a positive note, it's only a short drive from Tokyo. I probably won't go there again because of the price and little area you're...
