Tried rafting for the first time here in Japan. The price is ¥4,380 after tax (check their website for more information and reservations). This includes a free wetsuit rental, but shoe rentals cost an additional ¥300. The total course itself is 1.5 hours, but expect to spend around 3 hours total, including changing time and safety instructions. Don't worry they also have an English-speaking instructor. The course is exciting and fun, although there aren't many rapids in the river. The instructor will take photos and you can get them for ¥2,000 yen (30-40 photos). At the finish line, a mini bus will take you back to the starting point. One downside is there are no shower facilities, so you won't be able to fully clean up after the trip. Read moreIt was my first time to try out rafting and was a little bit scared at first. But the staff were really nice, made an effort to explain things, tried to make us more comfortable, and as a plus took a lot of great photos, which I really appreciated.
The rapids were not that strong during our session, so it was beginner-friendly. We were also able to swim and enjoy the river’s freshwater.
For the cons, maybe the lack of shower rooms. It was already mentioned on their site, so just be prepared for alternative means.

Lastly, shout-out to our guides, Moja-san, and Bob-san! 😁 Thank you very much for making our rafting experience a...

Although I already knew what to do, the instructions for how to operate the boat were not clear enough.
The price overall was expensive for how basic the experience, facilities, and service was. Also, having to pay for mediocre-quality photos was a bit much as well. (We should be able to download them for free)
Few good points:
1.The female instructor from the beginning who explained the overall process.
The proximity of the facility to the station. Really close;...
