Sakuragaoka Park — Attraction in Tokyo

I wanted to explore our neighborhood and find a playground where my kid can safely play so I looked into Google maps and saw it was just nearby so I went with my daughter. Never expected to find such beautiful, well-preserved and maintained park where you can literally hear the birds sing. My daughter couldn’t stop talking about the birds being around just by hearing them. 😅

I also loved that they have these picnic tables all over the place and the grass fields are just spectacular, like straight out of my imagination of how I wanted to spend a quiet lunch outdoors. I bet this was a beautiful place for cherry blossom viewing! Too bad the season was over when we came. Can’t wait to see it next year!

公園のあんない

桜ヶ丘公園では、かつての多摩丘 陵のすがたでもある自然が身近に体験できます。 桜が有名なこの公園は、もう一つこの顔である雑木林の保全を中心に整 備されてきました。 雑木林には見ど ころの時期を問うことはありません。 春夏秋冬、 さまざまな表情を作り出 し、私たちに惜しげもなく披露して くれます。 自然のたくましさや、 心なごむ自然の息吹を実感することができ、その魅力に驚かされるかも知れません。
