I visited with a family of five, and the staff were incredibly patient and helpful, especially in assisting our older family members in learning how to ride the Segway properly. In fact, one staff member joined the main guide specifically to support my mother for nearly half of the tour, making sure she had no issues navigating slopes or tricky turns on the way to the key photo spots overlooking the Tottori Sand Dunes.
Since some of us needed more time to get used to balancing, turning, and riding confidently, we ended up practicing for almost an hour before heading out on the actual course. We had signed up for the 90-minute tour, which typically includes about 30 minutes of training and 60 minutes of riding—but the staff kindly gave us a free 30-minute extension to ensure everyone felt comfortable before starting. They were very understanding and accommodating, especially toward the needs of our older participants.
Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable experience with breathtaking views and great value for money. Highly recommended! If I visit Tottori again with other family or friends, I’ll definitely come back and join another tour.

Read moreMy friends and I joined the session on June 29th. Although we don't speak or understand Japanese, the staff was patient and guided us on how to use the Segway by simple English. We received thorough training before heading to the dune to ensure our safety. Throughout the entire session, two coaches looked after our group of six, making us feel well cared for.
The training lasted about half an hour, and the total playtime exceeded two hours. The coaches organized several mini-games during the course, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They also took numerous photos and videos of us professionally, allowing us to focus solely on the experience without worrying about capturing the moments ourselves.
To top it all off, each of us was given a refreshing frozen pear jelly at the end of the trip. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly...
Read moreIt was great fun! We joined a 150-minute course in the afternoon. All participants were required to understand Japanese, though some of us did not know the language, we managed with the help from the guides and had a wonderful time. The friendly guides did a marvellous job teaching us how to ride the Segway and showing us the area. The tour started with a practice session, followed with exploration in the western part of the dunes, then finished with free roaming in the dirt track and weaving between trees. I think 150-minute is the right length of time to let the participants thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Segway tour was definitely the highlight of our Tottori trip. Highly recommend it to people who...
