Beautiful beach with options to have fun on the water. Big wheel water tricycles, banana boats, a protected swim area, snorkeling, restaurant, gift shop, lots of parking, and shady spots to sit and enjoy the view. Prices vary for what you are here for. Parking in the main lot is 400 yen. Sightseeing is just 200 yen. Swimming or just spending the day at the beach have their own price. It's well worth it, I assure you. This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and it has everything you'll need to enjoy your visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are beautiful views on both sides so bring your camera and take lots of pictures!

We had a strange experience here. The place is nice in itslef. The water and the surroundings a pretty, we got what we expected. But there are strange rules on the beach. You are not allowed the go any further of the swimming area despite the fact that the size of the place is almost the double with a lot to see. I walked only a few meters out of this area and two guys were running after me blowing whistles, and shouting no, no, no! The other annoying limitaiton is that you are not allowed to snorkel unless you rent a life jacket for 500Yen. But if you don't use the pipe, just the glasses, than it is ok, no need for life jacket. I don't see the security considerations behind this rule, only the money. You have to pay also for the shower, 200 yen. That is also annoying. What can't they include it in the entrance fee? The restaurant was closed in the middle of a working day and we were not allowed to buy icecream neither. And also there was a terrible and loud music played on the beach, no escape of it. Not recommended to visit this place.

The man running the place was very adamant about me paying admission when I showed up. It was 4:30 pm and they closed at 5:00 pm. It was only 400 yen, so I paid it so I could have a look around. He and his coworker reminded me of the closing time after that. Once I got onto the beach there was a sign saying "no swimming", I assume because it was pretty windy. He forgot to mention that when I was about to put money into their machine. It's not a nice area. There is an old broken down Jeep sitting there. There is an ugly concrete tower with bad sounding bullhorn type speakers blasting strange music. I work in sound and this is torture to me. I think it's annoying to most people who want to enjoy the beach and the sound of the sea. You can't escape from the tinny sound of their system anywhere on the beach. I disagree with the concept. I expect better from Japan. I recommend avoiding this beach altogether.

Ikei Beach, or 伊計ビーチ, charms visitors with its pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters on Ikei Island in Okinawa. This serene beach is an idyllic escape, offering a tranquil setting for sunbathing and swimming. The shallow waters are perfect for families, and the surrounding greenery enhances the natural beauty. Ikei Beach provides a peaceful retreat, away from the crowds, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy the scenic beauty of Okinawa's coastal landscapes.

A small beach with a friendly vibe. You have to pay an entrance fee upon entering the venue. There is a locker room where you can change your clothings and coin lockers to keep your belongings. Also there are vending machines at the entrance to the beach where you can buy tickets for beach item rentals and marine activities. They also have a restaurant where you can get some drinks and snacks as well as Okinawan dishes. Tofu champuru was one of the best!

Really nice beach but the experience is ruined by the staff. We arrived at 4 and the beach close at 5 so we thought we could stay 1h which would have been ok but it turns out that at 4:30 you aren’t allowed to swim anymore and the staff make you feel like you really need to leave although it is supposed to close at 5. Looks like this beach is just run by a bunch of old man who are tired of dealing with tourists. I don’t think I would comeback.
