Stumbled upon this when we visited this little chain of islands. I’d for sure recommend this when you are up this way. It is so cute!

These are rebuilds of remains of old island homes that were found here. A very neat and historical place that not many people know about. Worth the trip in my opinion and there is much more to do on these...

Really cool how they are re-storing the ancient village! The signs are in English too. The houses are in the ground and there are sites they haven't pulled up yet! Please be respectful and don't climb inside the huts. Free. Park in the side of the road. No bathrooms or...

Few houses within the grass field with information in Japanese 🇯🇵. Quick visit, beware of spiders 🕷️ Why not, not must see but interesting to see history of living 🛖 Just one place to park a car, but I think car can be shortly parked along the road if necessary....
