Keisei Rose Garden — Attraction in Yachiyo

Likes: -perfect spot for a rose flower lover when roses are in season -does not feel too crowded even on weekends -friendly warm staff -afew instagram-able photo spots set up -can see many cosplay persons in full attire and make-up and accompanying professional photographers -have big variety of rose plants on sale

Dislikes: -timing is important; compared to my first visit in June, this visit (middle Oct) was a disappointment with few flowers and wilting blooms, hence 3-star review -website states roses peak in middle Oct (see photo); not accurate. No live updates on blooms -gift shop mainly gardening products -felt it was a tad pricey fir tickets ¥1800, and especially for today’s visit; there is an Annual Pass ¥5000, good value if you plan...

Keisei Rose Garden in Chiba is seriously a rose paradise! Imagine over 1,600 different types of roses, like, 10,000 plants, all blooming their hearts out. It's huge, spread out, and smells amazing. They've got these cool arches and trellises overflowing with flowers, and even a greenhouse. It's definitely worth visiting, especially in late April to early June or early October to late November when they're in peak bloom. They sometimes have events like Alice in Wonderland themes, which is super cute. There's a cafe and shop too, so you can grab some rose-themed goodies or even plants to take home. It's a bit of a trek from Tokyo, but totally worth it for the sheer beauty...

京成バラ園、とガーデンセンタ（園芸用品売り場）について書きます. ＜概要＞ 欧風の宮殿庭園を模したような立派なバラ園、それを支える新種の作出では世界的なコンテストで受賞多数、園芸の講習会など数年前から頻繫に通いお手本にし指導いただいています.　職員の植物に関する知識経験レベルがたいへん高く、作業服を着ている人ならどなたに聞いてもすぐに正しい答えをいただけます。例えば虫に食われた葉を袋に入れ持っていき「これをやっつける殺虫剤ください」で、大体正解をもらえます。しかも皆さん働き者で見回せばどこかにいる. ハイシーズンには簡単無料講習会もあると思います. 写真のファイヤワークスラッフルは他では見たことありません、バラ以外にも写真=ハンカチの木のような珍しい植物もあり.

＜他のバラ園との比較＞ バラ園はたいへん立派で欧風の宮殿型ではたぶん日本一かな、美術館のような迫力があります。手入れも完璧、黒星皆無.　ただ、座って休むところが少なく体力も必要.　奥の芝生で一休みしても良いでしょう.　ほかに植物園として全体をゆっくり楽しむ時には＜あしかがフラワーパーク＞のほうが好き、家から近い＜府中の東京競馬場＞や＜神代植物公園＞バラ園もgoodです。埼玉では上尾郊外＜伊奈町のバラ園＞もどんどん拡張,改良され良くなっています、伊奈町では京成の指導を受けているような印象を受けます.

＜苗売り場＞ ガーデンセンタのバラ苗はたいへん豊富で、バラ園で気に入った品種を探せばそのうち半分くらいは苗の在庫があるように思います。品質は上質ですが、同じ京成バラの通販でも実店舗同等以上の品質で購入できます.　バラ以外の植物苗は値段高めですが非常に質が良くてそのへんのホームセンターの安いものとは比較になりません.

＜アクセス＞ ・入園料はもともと良心的なのですが、自分は春秋2回以上行くので年間パスを使います、2-3回行けば元が取れるお買い得券です. ・ピーク時期は園自体の混雑と、八千代市道路事情の悪さとでひどい渋滞にうんざりします、ピーク時期週末は早朝営業があるので事前確認して早起きすることがおすすめ. ・東葉高速鉄道が便利、八千代緑が丘下車、北口の住宅街はお手本のように美しい家並みでバラ園の前奏曲、自宅設計の参考にしました. ...
