笑福の湯 — Attraction in Yaizu

Just happened upon this wonderful establishment after a long journey to Yaizu. What a refreshing bath that has beautiful modern clean facilities. The morning hours are from 5:30 to 9 am which yet the cafe doesn’t open until 7:30. The cafe serves a very nice breakfast. Unfortunately, aside from the signs in English at the door, everything is for Japanese consumption as nothing is noted in English or any other language. I’m sure one will not have too much trouble if you have been to a Super Sento before. This place is cashless once one pays for entry. You will receive a wristband which you use to pay for everything from cups of tea to haircuts. Once you are ready to leave, you will then pay...

PROS: • Polite staff • Nice amenities • Good massage services • Multiple baths • Quite clean

CONS: • Lots of armbands and bracelets to keep track of • Slightly pricey

NOTE: • If you have tattoos, they won't let you in to use the baths. A friend invited me to go and she wasn't able to enter because of that; they most likely will not give you a pass for larger, blatant tattoos. 土曜日の11時30分頃到着。幹線沿いでは無く住宅街にどどーんと。駐車場も広いです。お世話になっている方のホーム銭湯にお邪魔しました。

靴箱、ロッカー等100円玉不要でした。一部の自販機や食事はリストバンドのバーコードで買えて、入館料合わせて帰り際にお支払い方式。

せっかくなので、満喫しようと思い、入館＋タオルセット＋岩盤浴でクーポン使って1人1400円。

休憩処も1階2階にあり、困ることは無さそうです。館内着か岩盤浴着を着ていれば入れるリクライニングチェアのエリアもありました。

さて洗面のシャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープ類の質は十分納得のレベルを置いてありました。

私は目が悪いので私事ですが、掛け湯の周りの囲い部分に入る時と出る時に足を当ててしまった。ちょっと泣き。

内湯は電気、バイブラ、ジェットと水風呂としっかりスーパー銭湯してます。座るジェットは最初バイブラだけかと思っていたら、時間で出たり止まったりとしてました。

特に深めのジェットで向かって右側は5つ位噴射していてバランスが良い感じでした。左側は超強力で腰にガンガン来ます。私のお気入りになり、来館中3回も超強力を浴びました。

露天は気泡が出る壺4つ(1つは出てなかったが)。強力な人口炭酸泉、小さめのあつ湯と白色の入浴剤入りの岩風呂。どのお風呂もしっかりしていました。

サウナはタワー型、ストーブ2つとikiのストーンと設備が良いし、広いし、申し分無し。残念なのはオートローリュウのタイミングに合わなかった。そこが心残り。細かいところでは氷が置いてあり、サウナ入る時に口に入れて入りました。

水風呂は入り易い水温で、整いスペースとしては、白いイス10脚と寝れるやつ2脚あり、どこか空いているので大丈夫でした。

岩盤浴は43℃と46℃の各10人入れる房、さらに60℃の房があり14時30分からのロウリュウも楽しんで来ました。

昼食は私はソースカツ丼、妻はから揚げ定食。どちらも840円と良心的価格で美味しかったです。

17時に退館と十分満喫させて頂きました。...
