A small museum housed in a former hotel. Understandably, the vast majority of info is in Japanese only. However, there is some interesting art pieces available for viewing if you can’t read Kanji etc. It’s free entry and free hot drinks are on hand. Not too shabby.

Well-preserved old hotel with some displays inside. Worth a pop in. Most of the information is in Japanese, but they will offer you a flyer in English. The first floor atmosphere is pretty retro-feeling, but the second floor is basically a large washitsu tatami room.

A real hidden gem, and a journey back to a bygone era. This place is an old fashioned ryokan that has been converted into a cultural museum. Staff was so nice!
