Fruit Spa PukuPuku — Attraction in Yamanashi

Very average onsen spa that is redeemed slightly by the fact that it's on top of a mountain and offers some nice views. The baths themselves are mostly lukewarm or otherwise mediocre, the changing room too small, and both things are honestly not large enough for when there is even a medium-sized crowd. There is a restaurant that only stays open until 20:00 and a terrace that allows outdoor access to see the aforementioned views.

Overall just average, not bad but not worth a side trip for it...

Found this gorgeous day onsen and absolutely love it . Less than 2 hour from Shinjuku station and 1500yen taxi from Yamanashi city JR station. The onsen is located on the top of fuefukigawa fruits park . The park has the best view of Mt Fuji. It is a lovely walk through the park . The onsen has two outdoor onsens with spectacular view of Mt Fuji together with many other mountains. After the bath , highly recommended to try the famous Yamanashi...

It's been 7 years since my last visit. Back then I used to frequent Puku Puku. It provides one of the best view in the city.

However, it seems that they use more disinfectant as level of Clorox smell was little too much for me. May be they started adding more disinfectant after covid-19 period.
