Gumyoji Park Observatory — Attraction in Yokohama

This place can be tricky to find unless you know your around especially since it’s right next to the Gumyoji train station on top of the hill. Overall, I had decided to go early in the morning around 09:00 hours and had the whole place to myself on a Friday morning only bumping into a few people here and there passing though on their way to the train station or elsewhere I assumed. It has a very nice view and should go back one day at night and see if the view is better at night one day. Also, most people reviewing this place complained about the trees but I counter back saying it’s in the middle of a park which is suppose to have trees. Yeah, the view would be better if the trees were not there but honestly I believe if you came back at night and looked upward and aboard you would get a better view at night. I plan on doing...

It's free, rarely crowded, tripods are allowed and the view is 360°. The bad thing is that the trees are blocking most of the view to Minato Mirai and Mountain Fuji is half blocked by houses, electrical wires and other urban structures.
