I went there during a weekday. It opens at 9:00, there were few tourists. It was quiet and beautiful. The entrance fee is 500 yen, which is quite reasonable. There are many photo spots. It is an outdoor garden, so it may get hot during the day without air conditioner, so i recommend going in the early morning or late afternoon. There are only 2 Chinese restaurants around. I had karaage set for 980 yen. It was delicious. If you go by public transportation, after getting off the bus, you should take the elevator to the bridge to get to the entrance.

This garden is beautifully constructed, using elements of real Chinese architecture and design. You get the impression that you've entered a traditional Chinese garden because of the attention to detail. It's a great place for photography as well, with lots of beautiful scenery and calm backgrounds. If you like traditional gardens or just want a quiet spot to snap pictures, this place is definitely worth visiting.

One of the largest Chinese inspired gardens in Japan, this symbolizes the friendship between Tottori Prefecture and Hebei Province. A must visit in Tottori! Beautifully maintained and they also have a show every hour if I remember it correctly

Beautiful Chinese garden and worth a visit if you live in the Tottori region. Got down at Matsuzaki station and walked here . There is a entry fee , but I think you’ll get a discount if you have your passport.

初めて中国庭園 燕趙園へ。 めちゃくちゃいいお天気だったので日傘を持って行きましたが、それでも暑かった( ˊᵕˋ ;)💦 まず驚いたのが入園料。なんと500円‼️お安い✨ 到着してすぐのタイミングで変面ショーや中国雑技ショーを見ることが出来てラッキー✌️(この時は入園料500円にショーの料金も含まれていました) ショーをやっている部屋は涼しかった✨ 変面ショーはテレビでは見たことがありますが、近くで見るとさらに感動✨中国雑技ショーは高いところや不安定な椅子の上で倒立でしたが、バランスが崩れて落ちないかハラハラドキドキで、見応えがありました。 その後は中国庭園を散策。広大でなかなか立派な庭園です。 優雅で色鮮やかな建造物、池、橋、滝、緑が素晴らしい。 燕趙園の説明によると… 設計から資材の調達、加工まで全て中国で行い、建築は1度仮組みしたものを解体して日本まで運び、中国人技術者の元、再度建設したとの事。建物には中国人彩画師により描かれた2000以上の彩画が描かれています。 中国には行ったことありませんが、まるで中国にいるかのような感覚に。 中国の建造物はカラフルで日本のものとは違ってまた素敵💕 チャイナドレスのレンタルもあるようです。 とにかく見応えがあります‼️お土産屋さんも中国雑貨を売っていて、見ていて楽しい。 お客さんも多くなくて穴場。スタッフの方も親切。 とても良かったのでまた行きたいです。

Such a lovely Chinese garden in Japan. Right beside a lake, this garden has many different areas and also you can enjoy a Chinese acrobatic show at 9:30, 1:30 or 3:30. It's amazing!
