Great market, something for everyone, loads of independent shops with goods like gourmet cheeses to gifts such as jersey fudges, toffees and fridge magnets. Of course fruit and veg stalls with a superb array of fresh produce too. Well placed just off the main street with cafes and bars in and around, so plenty of watering holes. Just across the street is the fish market, where the freshest catches are arrayed at reasonable prices to tempt. Read moreThe indoor market in St Helier is an interesting place. I guess it's one of those places that's popular with locals and tourists alike. Not that many market stalls when I had visited. Flowers, fresh meats, fish, sweets, woodern ornaments, but also some nice food stalls too. A bakery, fresh baguettes, cakes and hot and cold drinks. A walk round is a great experience: lovely cafes, fruit and veg stalls, traditional butchers, multi - coloured flower shops and fantastic delis, soak up the smells, sights and sounds.
