Boarding the ferry from Kuah Jetty to Kuala Kedah was an excellent experience! The entire process was well-organized and hassle-free. The ferry was clean, spacious, and equipped with comfortable seating, making the journey enjoyable from start to finish. The views along the way were absolutely stunning. Watching the calm waters of the Andaman Sea and the picturesque islands in the distance was incredibly soothing. The gentle breeze and the sound of the waves added to the relaxing vibe of the trip. The staff on board were friendly and ensured that passengers were comfortable and well-informed. The ferry departed on time and arrived at Kuala Kedah without any delays, making it a reliable and efficient option for travel. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, this ferry ride is a fantastic way to enjoy the natural beauty of Langkawi while traveling to the mainland. As a ferry jetty, it is convenient and accessible to all locations. Clean and informative direction will guide you to reach the destination. On our trip, the ferry from perlis to langkawi is old fashioned, but the going back ferry is perfect. Much cleaner and AC is better. You could buy online tickets for ferry and make a choice on schedule. Ferry fees is RM 27 for adult and RM 19.5 for child (3-12 yrs). Better buy online due to time constraints. It is better to catch ferry for 1 hr ahead for boarding time and necessary preparation. All languages must be at the aft of ferry. Once you arrived to Langkawi, the car rental services available and better take car rent instead of grab. The whole island has a lot of places to visit that will need your precious time in planned ahead. **Duty free liquor could buy but one passport is allowed only one liters of any alcohol beverages for whom stayed over 48 hours.

While going there, the jetty area felt a bit too crowded and slightly unorganized, which gave me a mixed first impression. But during the return trip, I was truly impressed. Everything in Malaysia is so well-organized and neat — it honestly felt like I was visiting an airport! On the way back, I took a ferry operated by Sani Company. Their service was truly impressive and praiseworthy. From boarding to the entire journey, everything was smooth and comfortable. After reaching the jetty, trolleys were readily available, and the best part is — they can be taken all the way to the roadside. That small convenience made a big difference and showed how thoughtfully everything is arranged.

Clean and spacey jetty. Comfy because of the waiting area is gigantic and lots of chairs. Equipped with air-conditioning so you will feel convenient while waiting for the ferry. If you still wanna complete your wish lists of chocolates, souvenirs and kitchen wares there's a lot of retail shops as in the Kuah City. But prepare your travel itinerary, the hotel slip or receipt of duty items if requested as a proving of your stay and purchase at Langkawi for the immigration clearance. Remember not to buy too many kain batik guys!

One of the busiest jetties in Malaysia definitely. With the latest system of less frequent ferry operation daily, people flock to this place everyday. There are varieties of shops selling chocolate and perfume besides several restaurants and cafes around for your choice. Toilets and surau are also available and within walking distance. Most of all booth and agents for tour and rentals are everywhere so you don't have to panic if you don't plan your itinerary to go to this beautiful island
