Facilities like washrooms and parking are available at Eagle Square, ensuring convenience for visitors. This picturesque spot is highly popular among Instagram enthusiasts, making it a must-visit if you are in Langkawi, Malaysia. The best part is that entry to Eagle Square is free, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking view and capture some cool pictures without any cost. We recently brought our clients here and captured an amazing video of the famous giant eagle statue, which proudly overlooks the waterfront. The size and detail of the eagle are truly impressive, and it symbolizes the name of Langkawi itself — "Helang" (eagle in Malay). It’s the perfect spot for photos and videos, especially at sunrise or sunset when the light is magical and the sky reflects beautifully on the water.

The area around the square is clean, well-maintained, and family-friendly, with open spaces, fountains, and nearby cafés and stalls. Parking is available, and it's walking distance to the jetty area.

I visited Eagle Square (Dataran Lang) during my trip to Langkawi Island, and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my visit. This place is truly the heart of Langkawi and one of the island’s most recognizable landmarks. The giant eagle statue standing proudly by the sea is absolutely stunning. It's perfectly represents the name and spirit of Langkawi (“Helang” means eagle in Malay).

The area around the square is very clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed. There are wide open spaces, fountains, and walkways where visitors can relax and take in the fresh sea breeze. The view of the Andaman Sea and nearby islands from this spot is simply breathtaking. I took many photos and videos here, and every corner looked picture-perfect.

Eagle Square is especially magical during sunset. The golden rays of the setting sun reflecting on the eagle statue and the ocean create an unforgettable scene. In the evening, the square lights up beautifully, giving it a calm yet vibrant atmosphere.
