Jelgavas Vecpilsētas māja — Attraction in Jelgava

Really cool modern exhibitions, with interactive material. I loved that they had two types of audio tour, the construction based one that talked about the engineering side of the house, and the story tour which filled my skin with goosebumps as the narrator put you in the scene of this house when someone lived in it.

However, that's where it ends. I disliked that the house is extremely renovated, some walls still look original, but for the most part it looks like a real estate mock house for future buyers, very 21st century. Too modern for such a historical place. Would have been nice if they renovated it and left it looking like new but for the time it was built, or had more furniture of the era, maybe some old artefacts.

It's something to do in Jelgava, would not say it's a must-see, you won't miss much if...

Very interesting, interactive and modern. You get audiogide and can walk around the building listening to different facts...

Потрясающая экспозиция. Ничего подобного не видела в Латвии. Все именно так, как и должно быть в 21 веке. Лаконично, со вкусом, интерактивно... Отличная идея с двумя версиями аудиогида. Было интересно даже четырехлетке. Создателям выставки - браво!

Только побольше рекламы нужно. Мы об этом месте узнали совершенно случайно, хотя часто ездим из...
