Tērvete Wooden Castle — Attraction in Tērvetes pagasts

Quite interesting, and with many shiny archeological replicas. But the atmosphere is not too convincing, it's still a bit like from 90s. With a box from bananas in the darker side of exposition with a hope that noone will notice it.

I would also have been happy to buy some souvenirs (maybe some replica, or at least a T-shirt) - but...

A really wonderful wooden fortress. The ticket price is really low considered the things you can see and feel. Being there you can really feel the medieval baltic vibe, see cool weaponry, rooms with manequins dressed as the balts. The castle personally is in my top 10....
