BEWARE THE WATERMELON SMOOTHIE SCAM!!!! Do not order the watermelon smoothie!!

A quick brief of our experience. Went with my friends and my dog yesterday to this pet friendly beach. Location itself not exactly intriguing (located right to Holcim power plant) but the place was clean enough.

The story of the scam itself. At the entrance they had this watermelon stand, which we unfortunately saw and were naturally, in that hot day, drawn into. So after we sat, we ordered two of these watermelon. Mind you, the watermelon itself cost 7,000 lbp/ kg (seasonal fruit) and this is a mini watermelon, we didn't check the price as we both knew the market price of the watermelon.

The bill came with the order, an extravagant 250,000 lbp per watermelon (small). For a watermelon that costs in the market 7000 lbp/ kgs, and this one weighs max 1.5 kgs, we were charged 250,000 lbp !!! when we asked the waiter about it, he told us this is a "smoothie"! Bunch of scammers!

Mind you the watermelon itself was not fresh at all and this is a seasonal fruit, the upper cut was dried out (overnight cutting) and tasted horrible.

On our way out, a couple and another family were also complaining about their bills until they were told about the watermelon "smoothie" scam.

All in all, not at all worth it. There exist a lot of pet friendly beaches. Not worth the experience. Don't...

This place is ZERO.

Well yestrerday we went to that amazing beach!!! Great ambiance great atmosphere.

It is a public property yet they charge u 25000 L.L.per person as an entrance fees, And for it they give u a beach umbrella and a puffy mat.

We were 5 people we paid 100,000L.L. But because it was crazy hot this day we asked for a second umbrella.

This guys Nahed said we can’t put to umbrellas next to each others divide urself in 2 groups then u can get 2 umbrellas ( p.s. there were no availability for 2 umbrellas next to each others)

We moved and had to sit next to the sound speaker . The voice of the speaker was very loud so we turned it a little not to hurt our ears.

Nahed came again and turned it back.

At the entrance they said there is a place for recycling were we can put our water bottles. So my friend was standing next to it and she couldn’t find it.

When she saw this guy Nahed : where can i put this water bottle to be recycled .He told her i don’t know go to the reception they will tell u.

The reception is 5 mn away and the recycle bin was right next to them

Nothing to be said abt the management and this guy in particular but RUDE.

I would never visit the place again.and i really do not recommend any of u to visit.

Honestly if I could vote negatively I would. Worst experience ever. The people at the entrance were rude and disrespectful. The security guard was being in lack of better words an a**.We were not allowed to enter food for a baby because it goes against their ‘rules’. We were called crazy for getting chips with us to snack on(we were a big group). As we were taking out the snacks they made over exaggerated sounds and were complaining to other customers about us getting snacks with us to the beach. We were cooperating with them but they had no respect for anyone, the women and man at the front brought up the fact that they would give us a refund even though we didn’t ask for one which was very unprofessional. And after paying we asked if there was a ticket or any form of proof that we had paid to enter and were met with a rude comment from the guy working at the entrance.Totally not worth it and definitely would not recommend to anyone. The beach was dirty and the ambiance was not that great. They should work on their administration and communication skills. Honestly in my opinion they should change their entrance administration because at this rate it doesn’t seem...
