A must see while in the beautiful city of Sidon. Located in the middle of the souqs, it's basically, a "Sarai" of the times for travellers to rest in and freshen up. Includes Hammams, Harams and rooms. On display are photographs, pottery and the rooms itself with some great lighting. Entrance fee is LBP450,000 ($5) and includes a guided tour by some very friendly and welcoming hosts. Easily spend 45mins here

With an entry ticket 15000 Lebanese Pound by person, we had a guided visit by the person claiming in charge of the renovation of the building. He briefed about the Mamluki origin of the building which seems be owned later by the Sacy family originated from Syrian Horan region (Daraa). You will impressed by the two wells collecting water and the renovated Hammams.

My first impressions weren’t so great as there were only a few old paintings displayed, as well as a family tree of the previous owner of the place. Later, there were old pottery remains displayed and pieces of an old oven. What makes the visit worthy is the old hammams and 2 wells where water from the sea runs through. The entrance fee is 5,000 LL.
