Beach of Moonlight Bay — Attraction in George Town

Hi it's me again, Batu Feringgi is a renowen area for it's beach.If you prefer crowd, banana boats,jet skis and parachutes dragged by speed boats than Bayu Senja is the right choice, like wise I prefer Moonlight Bay for a picnic with the family and even a barbeque at night coz it's quiet and not crowded. History of Moonlight Bay during the 70s and 80s there was a pilot house there and a pilot boat which when there's a ship going into harbour the pilot boat will speed out to help navigate the ship in. It's a great spot for fishing and net casting to and the tide rising just sitting on the beach and scooping the sand while the wave wash over there are clams, shells to catch.Only make sure to bring your own food...

There is nothing here except a clean beach for you to enjoy a dip in clean water.

As other reviewer mentioned, really there is nothing, not even a changing room, so bring a large towel and come with friends to help each other.

The main ferringhi zone, is muddy/clayed. Only good for sunset photos and water sports. Not ideal for kids to play water there.

It’s like your own private beach. Seems like it once had some shops and food stalls, but those sites are currently abandoned. So it is better to go on a full stomach, bring some water and get ready to swim comfortably 🏊‍♀️

Very cool little spot to go for swimming, no jelly fish unlike Batu Ferringhi, water is much cleaner also. It’s secluded so go during the day 😊
