I actually feel very awkward that our beautiful Penang Beach is called after a US location. Pantai Miami located on the Northern most point (almost) of the Island, it is a small stretch of beach that lies between Shamrock Beach and Moonlight Bay. Reachable by walking along Jalan Tanjung Bungah, it is also the route of Rapid Bus #101 and #102, the bus stop exactly at the beach, if you are travelling from Komtar, the price at the date this is written is RM2. I recommend to take the 101 since it has more frequency, 102 comes all the way from the airport and its travels a longer route. There are no parking near the beach, I don't recommend anyone coming here with their cars or eat at the beach and throwing their trash everywhere. Fairly well maintained sandy beach with large rock formation at the northern edge of Penang island just off Tanjung Bungah. Basic amenities such as public toilet (with fee), local hawkers stall selling snack, cemented stairs (not wheelchairs accessible), safety watch tower (manned by APM). You can enjoy the warm sea breeze with soft oscillating wave beating the shore and silhouette of Mountain Jerai (at good weather) over the Peninsula of Malaya with the background of open view of Malacca straits.
