When I was in Penang, I have visited this farm probably three or four times. It is really good place if you are looking for place with nature and mingle with their pet animals. I just saw recent bad reviews about this place by mentioning not many animals, far from town, not many Grab around. For thos written that bad review, before you come, you should know that this not a zoo, or commercialized petting zoo. Its a private farm. They are not opening this place for showcasing animals only, instead they just want to give exposure on how they handle their farm animals. Secondly, its a farm and of course it is located in a remote area. Do you expect they run a farm beside your house? What a stupid brain you have. Thirdly, its a kampung area and everyone knows there were not much Grab available there. Village people have their own transport, not like you behave like entitled so-called city people but dont have the availibility to even own or drive your own car. Use your brain next time if you want to sightseeing.
I feel bad for the owner of the farm. The farm is really nice place. I just got to defend the farm owner from bad reviews from some dumb people.
*I just realized that the bad reviews comes from Singaporean. Yeah, these people when they go out from the island, they behave like a stone age people. Probably they expect the farm runs beside their box-sized HDB. No wonder la. Also, before assuming that other people uneducated, please educate yourself before travel. Make sure you have proper knowledge before coming to other people's house. No matter you are tourist or not, kindly behave and think like a proper civilized person. Respect other people first. Learn your manners. Malaysian knows very well how people from seberang act on the road etc. So before you tag other people's comment as offensive, see yourself either you act like one or not. Learn proper behaviour on how to became like a normal person with brain before assume everybody just like you. We also dont want people like you, we only welcome people with good attitude and full of respect to others.
What you give, you get back la. Dont play victim...
Read moreDo not come. I repeat do not come. This place is out of nowhere. Took us 2hrs to book a grab to get back to town. Plan well before going.
If you’re planning to visit, think twice and plan very well. If you don’t drive, you’re basically stranded.
Also, some of the reviews here are extremely insensitive and stereotypical, which just shows how uneducated certain people are. What's with the personal attack to a group of people when they bring tourism? It’s incredibly off-putting and reflects poorly on the place.
I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it’s important that we maintain a respectful and constructive tone when leaving reviews and whether they’re positive or negative. While your loyalty to the farm is commendable, attacking other visitors personally and making offensive generalizations about specific nationalities is just childish.
Resorting to derogatory remarks about someone’s background and nationality doesn’t contribute to the reviews. Instead, it creates unnecessary hostility. The reviews you’ve criticized may reflect disappointment, but people have the right to express their experiences, especially if they didn’t align with their expectations. It’s much more productive to address the concerns with empathy and understanding, rather than insults.
hateful or defamatory language, especially those targeting certain groups potentially violate guidelines of review platforms, as well as local laws regarding hate speech and defamation. I would advise reconsidering the approach, as inflammatory comments will affect the farm's image, complaints or others.
Do keep the reviews about thiss farm focused on facts and personal experiences without resorting to attacks or offensive stereotypes. This way, everyone can plan well if they don't drive. And it is a fact that not everyone drive.
Also. Thanks to a the simple minded review, this place is now on the radar of local authorities with a warning. The offensive, ignorant reviews from others only make this place look worse and lose even...
Read moreReally great to come here with families and friends. Free entry to play with animals! You are overwhelmed in a good way- the geese honk at you, the dogs run up to you and nudge you, the ducks quack and waddle around, chickens cluck and fly about, guinea pigs squeak and squeal in their enclosures. Feels great to see a farm with free roaming and happy animals!
The goat with a bandana (DiDi i think) loves to follow you around and nudge you to feed her. The dogs roti, chester, and more are really great herding dogs :)
I love the breeds of chickens. The polish chickens has thick fluffy hair on their heads, and one small chicken looks like it has streaks of black calligraphy on all its feathers!
The staff are really passionate and careful. (Sorry I didnt catch your name) She let us stay around the farm even when shes busy because we were trying to get a cab. She gives us tips on catching the ducks or taking care of the farm. She's really good at what she does!
The feeding is really worth too- 3MYR for one pack, and 10MYR for 4 packs. One pack of feed has a huge quantity so you can spend all day slowly feeding them.
The goat milk is really delicious and cheap too. They also export to the mainland. Support this farm! The location is quite obscure and getting a grab is hard, but it's worth...
