🚨 Urgent Complaint: Unresponsive Communication from Malaysia Heritage Studios 🚨
Dear friends and fellow travelers,
I wanted to share my recent experience with Malaysia Heritage Studios, and unfortunately, it has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I was eager to organize a visit for students and teachers, but despite my efforts, I encountered countless hurdles and poor communication along the way. Allow me to summarize the timeline of events:
Back on April 21, 2023, I made an attempt to reach out to Malaysia Heritage Studios. However, I faced an obstacle as I couldn't obtain any contact numbers for the students and teachers. Determined to proceed, I resorted to sending a Facebook inquiry instead. Luckily, someone finally reached out to me via WhatsApp.
However, this glimmer of hope soon faded away. It took a staggering 14 days for Malaysia Heritage Studios to reply to my initial request, and even then, it was only to provide a quote. I promptly responded, seeking adjustments and posing additional questions. Sadly, despite my efforts, I never received any further response from their end.
Hoping to resolve the issue, I waited patiently for two more days after sending my follow-up reply, only to discover that my message was not delivered. This raised concerns about the effectiveness of their communication channels.
Feeling increasingly frustrated, I decided to make another attempt by sending yet another Facebook inquiry. To my dismay, my efforts were met with silence once again. It seemed as though my messages were disappearing into a void.
Adding to the challenge, I scoured Google in search of their contact numbers, but to no avail. The WhatsApp number provided proved to be useless as it was consistently offline. At this point, I had no choice but to rely on emails and an enquiry form as my sole means of communication.
What troubles me the most is the sheer difficulty in reaching out to Malaysia Heritage Studios. I had sincerely hoped to bring guests and showcase their establishment as a representation of Malaysia in West Malaysia, enabling me to recommend it to tourists visiting Melaka. Regrettably, their poor attitude and communication style have made it exceedingly difficult for me to promote their services.
Presently, I find myself facing a critical problem. I have 32 individuals eagerly awaiting this visit, but Malaysia Heritage Studios has shown absolutely no care or responsiveness towards my inquiries. Such a lack of professionalism and disregard for potential customers leaves me hesitant to continue endorsing their services or attempting to sell others on the idea.
I share this experience not only to vent my frustrations but also to caution fellow travelers and enthusiasts who may be considering Malaysia Heritage Studios. It is disheartening to witness such an exceptional place tarnish its reputation due to negligence and indifference towards those who wish to explore and support its offerings.
Let us hope that Malaysia Heritage Studios takes note of this feedback and works towards improving their communication channels and customer service. In the meantime, I urge you all to exercise caution when dealing with them.
Thank you for lending an ear, and please feel free to share this post to raise awareness and prevent others from facing similar disappointments.

Read moreAll the Houses never fail to amaze us! Each house we enter, we absolutely say 'wow,' regardless of whether the house is air-conditioned or not. Congratulations to the art teams; the modern contemporary art is well blended with traditional elements, such as Rumah Melaka where the 'terompah' is painted colorfully. I learned a lot about our cultures. I like how we can interact with the arts, such as Rumah Kedah, Kelantan, and Rumah Terengganu, and experience props such as the Chinese drum at Rumah Johor, which I never thought I would experience in my life.
I have been to the Ninja Culture House in Japan, which also has a similar concept to Malacca Heritage Studio, but to be honest, Malacca Heritage Studio is absolutely more stunning and amazing!
We have a few other suggestions, such as offering traditional clothes for rent at each house at an affordable price, like RM10-20, to enhance the cultural experience. Alternatively, offering luxury traditional attire like songket with accessories for a higher price, RM100 or above, along with a professional photographer from Malacca Heritage Studio. Additionally, having a café/restaurant that sells traditional food with traditional interior design would be a great addition.
All the houses are indeed well-created. Well done, guys! I don’t mind paying a high price, as I had a wonderful experience!
TIPS FOR FUTURE VISITORS: I bought tickets at the counter as it more cheaper than klook or etc where adult only RM45, while senior/child RM35.
Better to wear sandal that easy to remove and slip on (as each houses, need to remove our shoe), thin clothing, bring along umbrella, portable fan, hat, and sun glasses as it is quite hot during sunny day. Don’t forget sun block cream and water too. But you can be at some air conditioned houses a little bit longer to cool off your body down..
There are few restaurants and coffee shops before the entrance, and a snack shop at the inside (they are selling cool waters too).
Don’t forget to bring your phone that is full of battery power, because there will be lots of photos to be taken. Better to come in groups to enjoy more, as during weekdays, there will be no much people and shows. Like us, i think we are around 8 visitors at that time.
Hope the management will give us some information when would be the shows, and its time, during the ticket purchases or in websites.
Time of visit: 1pm Time of exit: 4pm Duration of visit: ~3 hours Date: 6/5/2024 Pax: 5 adults + 1 child (5yo) Parking: easy and plenty, but no roof. No parking charge. Thus bring your window sunshades. And be prepared to be like a roasted chicken when entering your car. 🤭 Toilet: beside marrybrown (outside) and beside snack shop (inside). Clean. Hotel: we stayed at mudzaffar...
Read moreMy family visited this studio on 25th December 2023. 2 Adult and 2 kids ticket around RM180 including entertainment tax. This is my honest review.
This place has so much potential to be the best attraction for Melaka but unfortunately it was not maintained to the standard.
A few months back there is review from other visitor about many houses were closed during their visit. Guess what, during my visit 3 month later, still 3 houses were locked without information. During peak school holiday and Christmas day, they were not willing to repair their attraction for their guest. All the visitor paid full price yet they did not get what they should get.
At first Rumah Perak where the main attraction is the dancing plastic figure and magical mirror were located, many figure are not function(spinning) anymore and the main attraction magical mirror under maintenance(seriously??). Are we pay to see the signage "Under Maintenance"? No technician visible to try repairing them. Many visitor disappointed including us. First impression already bad enough, suddenly the feeling of regretting after paying almost RM200 for this experience came to my mind......
Other prop such as hanging kite above the pavement just fall from above when blew by wind, luckily no visitor were hit.
Excited to watch performance at 3.30pm, but it was not as expected. Only 4 performers involved only typical activity and dancing. Just OK, but nothing spectacular. Not the performers fault though.
My advise to the management, please maintain your place to the highest standard possible. Visitor who pays premium ticket has high expectation to get memorable experience.
Will I visit again this place? Sorry no in this condition Will I recommend to other? Yes, if you have extra money to...
