Pantai Mawar — Attraction in Johor

Stunning view of the blue sea and white beach with low crowds. During low tide, you can walk a short 300m sand bar to a hiking place called Gerbang Mawar. Signboard at the entrance was not visible, only a “white board” and follow the white rope along the way which will lead you to the a steep up hike then down to astonishing cave alike entrance. If you want something different on your vacay, you should go here @Pantai Mawar a.k. Pulau Mawar, Mersing Johor. This is private beach where we must pay according to our activities.. Campsite is clean. Unfortunately, there are signs of sea erosion and no action to mitigate the damage. Part of the road nearer to the Geopark has been washed away by waves. Even though the place is gated and locked at night to ensure campers safety, there were 3 groups lighting huge campfires! Rule No 3 on entrance ticket clearly prohibits any burning activity.
