SKYTREX Adventure Sg Congkak — Attraction in Kajang Municipal Council

Really enjoyed my time here! Had pleasant experience and it's friendly for English speakers as well. For first timers, things I wished I know before was that

1. there's only ONE entrance to Skytrex from the main road. You missed that then you'd need to make a U-turn. REMEMBER that the road to the place is lively, not deserted.

I happened to miss the first junction from the main road and Google reroute it to another exit junction up ahead (if you're from Kajang/Cheras). Little did I know, I was entering some sketchy, isolated place where the road is a single lane and your left and right are just pure nature (no buildings whatsoever except the occasional construction hut). It led me to an old quarry (from paved road to stones) and I just noped the f out.

2. there's parking provided at Skytrex and it's FREE! Well, technically you have to pay the entry fee before you enter the facility 🤷 If the parking lot you're at is paid (RM10 in my case) then you're not at the right place.

My advice is don't trust Google again but you should find a signboard that tells you where skytrex is. You should see and cross the small narrow bridge at the END of jalan sungai congkak on the left (you'd see a gated arched driveway if you continued straight from there and there should be some parking lots on your right). A kind local was helpful enough to point me in the right direction. Thanks makcik🫵👍

Things I would criticize are probably the road to the place. Not only that the signboards are obscured and worn-out, the roads leading to it are full of holes and pure misery. Hopefully, the management could fix the road as soon as possible for people's convenience. Other than that, everything is satisfactory.

Overall, definitely a must go for those looking for some challenges and adrenaline. It's definitely not for the faint hearts. Remember to bring your friends as well! The more, the merrier, and perhaps, the...

We choose intermediate route.which is river trail.experience not very happy because this route has many flying fox but almost all the rail for the flying fox I experience hanging fox. Can't reach the end n need to moved manually to the end. I think the way they tie the rope is not proper.i tried so many places of the flying fox before and this is the first time I experience "hanging fox" for my weight. N the facilities is quite old n outdated d.hard to take off and hook in.they need to upgrade the gear set. I would prefer to go other place like Escape theme Park which is more interesting rather than travel so far away to here.for me the rate is quite expensive.luckily they give me online rate RM55 even I walked in.if not I don't think is worth it to try. We accidentally reach the gate of the Selangor forest park reception and they straight away request is to pay rm4 per head and rm5 parking.if we can straight away reach the gate of the skytrex,I don't think we need to pay for this extra chargers as this chargers actually is for those who want to swim at the River there.the officers there cheat us I think.We finished the challenge in 1.5 hours. For me,is not challenging enough,boring and is expensive. Not recommend this place anymore.this is my last visit here. Ok place but the park needs to be more informative and the staff have to carry first aid equipment as mandatory. We were not told to carry any water and this is critical for everyone as you will quickly get dehydrated after climbing the huge ladder (we did the advanced level course). No one from the adventure park informed us about carrying any water as we thought we are not allowed to have any back packs due tot he safety harness. My daughter started to get dizzy spells and fainted at one section. There was no staff anywhere. After I managed to locate a staff further down the zip lines and informed him but he did not even help or carry anything to aid her. Also, none of the staff carry any first aid equipment or water in case of emergency. This is extremely “bad” and staff should help people were help is needed. I don’t even think they carry any walk-in talkies for emergencies. They should also keep water at stationed points in case of any emergency. A “lot” of improvement is needed as safety does not seem to be a priority. When we were bing trained at the start the lady (staff) told us that there were not enough staff working today. To hear this was extremely concerning especially for a high adrenaline park. The government or authorities should investigate this park as I am sure they will find a lot of safety issues. Only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured or something even worse happens to someone. “SAFETY” HAS TO BE TOP...
