Nouri Glass Villa — Hotel in Kajang Municipal Council

As you read from other reviews, ‘beautiful place to stay’. ‘Great place for family gathering’ . ‘Great place with pool & river’. Yes to all that. However, we had a horrid experience at night. There were bed bugs in the guest house’s bedroom & the couch in living area. One of us were severely bitten by the bed bugs and were swollen all over the body. We couldn’t sleep because of this.

We only stayed for 1 night. Informed & reported to the host the next day as we discovered the bedbugs past midnight, but the host only asked the bedbugs whereabout with no apology. We’ve demanded for compensation but the host blocked us instead.

Made a report to airbnb customer service. They said it is our fault because we didn’t check upon check in and we should have report it earlier. It is supposed to be the host RESPONSIBILTY to check the condition of the place before the next guest check in. Housekeeping service exist for reasons. Do you expect guest to flip the mattress and check the pillows or under the duvet & headboard if there are bedbugs just after check in? Ludicrous.

There are some other issues too, the stove wasn’t working properly, and the sink was clogged. The master bedroom’s toilet is leaking. I am very dissapointed with the service. A beautiful expensive place to stay, with ‘expensive’ & unforgettable experience indeed.

Very nice serene environment. Don't expect to have lots of activities here. This place is very nice just to chill and slow down your city life.

There are 2 rivers crossing the villa. One is super nice to play with. The pool is big and clean. Things to bring is mosquito repellent and plenty of food. There are quite a number of malay stalls outside the main road which is a few kms away.

Cons. Their row away beds' mattress is super thin. Can't really sleep on top of it. Your body will touch the bed frame. Even the kids are complaining about it. The house keeping need some improvement. Their gate is always open and the ice cream man aways drove their bike in. Eventhough it is big and green, don't expect too much of privacy. Their house keeper always around and wandering around the compound. He is very helpful, if you want more privacy, perhaps can ask him not to come into the house compound.

Overall is a lovely and chill...

We were intrigued when we saw pictures of the villa before coming. But was so disappointed with our experience and treatment from the “superhost”.

Villa was not well maintained as it wasn’t as cleaned as expected. The sink was clogged even before we were there. Cooking stove wasn’t even working properly! It was like fireworks which is dangerous to use. Luckily no one got hurt while we were cooking😤

That’s not even the worst part. The moment it was time for us to sleep at the smaller villa near the main villa, there were bedbugs! With eggs ffs🤦🏻‍♀️One of our friend got bitten after sleeping for less than an hour.

Even the sofa at the living area have them. We came here to rest but we got this instead.

Complaint to the “superhost” and demanded for refund, but got blocked instead without any further discussion or compensation.

Shame on the...
