I wish to share the marvelous experience I had at Paradise 101, Langkawi during my 4 day stay. Our trip comprising of 9 members to Paradise 101 for the second time in the past 2 years is testimony that our first experience was awesome. It was perfect and you did not disappoint us on our second visit. We had so much fun that we are still raving about it. As repeat guests, we can attest that Mr.Vira and his highly motivated, friendly team of members have been consistent in providing their guests with excellent professionl service; be it Malaysians or foreign guests. Their impeccable service and hospitality made our stay enjoyable. Most importantly, we were impressed by their readiness and the responsiveness of his staff. They are always willing to accomodate whatever requests we put forward with a smile. Such positive service attitude is highly commendable. Paradise 101 is the perfect destination for a relaxed, fun-filled get- away. Its beauty coupled with an excellent service is the recipe to a joyful holiday. This was evident in Paradise 101. The staff complemented each other well in delivering a service that was beyond our expectations. They were warm and sincere and took pride in their duties. All of them were helpful and spontaneous in taking care of all our needs. We were pampered and cared for all through our stay. Most importantly, the staff ensured that we were safe all the time. The safety of all the guests was a priority. It was done subtly and we all felt assured of a safe and enjoyable vacation. Our return visit to Paradise 101 was to celebrate a birthday. To our delight, stood a beautifully decorated yacht in the open sea. The cool breeze, the assortment of food and drinks served on board was a treat. It was truly a gourmet experience. In addition, the resort boast of a range of sea- sporting activities for all, including senior citizens and people with special needs. Activities for children and infants are supervised by trained staff. Paradise 101 is known to have won several awards for their brilliant service and customer experience. Its an achievement that I so wish will continue for many years. Keep up the amazing work and outstanding service at the resort; success will continue. A special appreciation to Mr.Vira and the team for a dream vacation at Paradise 101. It was truly magnificent. I am confident all of you will keep on winning more awards and accolades. Paradise 101 is a true model of the warm Malaysian hospitality. It was difficult for us to leave the cozy, comfortable and totally relaxed feeling we were enjoying at Paradise 101. We can truly vouch that the service rendered is far better than many reputable resorts. We will certainly return for more in the...
Read moreA little man-made island with a few insta-worthy photo spot. But more importantly and surprisingly it isn't too crowded despite being small and it has plenty of beach chairs and some hammock around for some relaxation. Basically even if you don't play with the water activities you can just laze around and while the time away with a book or phone. It's on the warm side if you're there during the daytime but it gets better as we approach late afternoon, which was the time I chose to go. However we failed to catch the sunset as a sudden rainstorm passed by right around that time. They do play some music through outdoor speakers though so if you're looking for a really quiet place, this isn't it. But if you can ignore it or mentally block them, then it isn't a major issue. Boat ride is just a few minutes minutes away. Staff greets you warmly. The blow-up "water park" is quite tired and worn down. And the fact that one had to swim to it rendered it harder to access. I did play with the kayak but didn't paddle far as the staff reminded us to stay within the boundary indicated by some buoys. And while leaving I was made aware that entry would be free after 6pm, just that the water activity facilities are not included. It is meant to cater for those who wish to visit the bar and chill out to live DJ mixing some tunes, but as long as you came sharp on the dot, you get to enjoy a sunset dinner at the restaurant without having to pay an entry fee to the island. I'll put in my review for the food in the restaurant...
Read moreI have been around the world to many private beaches and islands as well as many in Malaysia as this is my 8th trip to this wonderful country. This has been hands down the worst experience. We arrived with on a ferry to the island and was forced to do a boat tour immediately or else we forfeit the "privilege" that we paid for. My wife was not ready so she missed out. On return from our sub standard boat tour we decided to have lunch which was the highlight of our time there. Next we decided set ourselves up on the beach to have a swim. As soon as our feet touched the ocean we were whistled down by the security. Apparently they have a policy that swimming isn't allowed without a life jacket in water that is barely 6ft. We were informed prior to purchasing our package that life guards were on duty but nothing about life jackets. When I asked the security to call the manager so I could speak to them about he just kept nodding his head and didn't move. I know he spoke English because I had a conversation with him before and I repeated myself at least 10 times. Finally my frustration got the better of me and I walked over to find the manager myself who was probably just a service staff. He reiterated that this was the policy and pointed at a life guard for my safety whom was in the water without a life jacket. We therefore decided to leave as I could go to nearby Pantai Kok without a life jacket which is of better standard and free.
