OMG Beach Bar & Restaurant at Paradise 101 Langkawi — Restaurant in Kedah

This is my second visit to OMG Beach restaurant. The first was in 2022, had a great food and services at the OMG and the ambience was nice. Now in 2025, sad to see the place looks very run down. Arrived at 2.50pm, there were only three tables with customers and all of the tables got their meals. We ordered two types of dishes, fried rice and aglio olio grill chicken only, yet took 40 minutes to received our food. I even walked around to see what was taking so long and saw three cooks at the kitchen. Thankfully the food were tasty. However, the service was unacceptable slow. Pretty remote restaurant on the paradise complex. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it had very few people there. You pay 15RM each to take a 5-min boat ride over. They try to sell you on packages/ask if you have reservations at the boat dock but just tell them you want to go to the island and you can get there. Food was decent and the view was awesome. This is such a fun place to visit. Staff are lovely, food is great and views are spectacular. Some great activities on offer too if your heart desires. Happy hour 12-5 every day!

It's a shame that more people aren't visiting and enjoying what is on offer. 15rm gets a return boat too and fro, and access to the water...
