Pasar Malam Wakaf Che Yeh — Attraction in Kelantan

Was expecting many many local foods, but turn out mostly sell clothes. Went there around 615pm, nothing much. No choice, had to have dinner in shop nearby, after one hour (which is nearly 730pm), still not much stalls in operation in fact many of them just started to set up the stalls. Heard that it's the most famous night market in Kota Bharu but maybe should go a bit late (around 8pm or 9pm) else really nothing much to see.

The detail that attracted my attention is the way they tight the rope, wallplugs were nailed on wall to hang up the canvas. Never see this kind of 'umbrella' in other night market. What i want to review here is not about the price but the place. First thing that i don't like here is the parking charge. It is not reliable at all. There is no specific parking area, only sidewalk or home lawn but still charged by 'ulat parking'. The item price is quite high compare rantau panjang as it was the same item from Thailand. So, if you have more time and more budget just go to rantau panjang. The food here is 'ok' but the hygiene is not satisfying. Every morning this place will be fresh market and I always saw a lot of rubbish and mouse on food stall (that sell food at night). FYI, they park/left their stall behind pasar pagi site. I've never bought any food if I visit this...

I liked this place when I was little. But it didn't really feel the same when I grew up.

The items sold here aren't the best in quality and mostly are fakes. There are some original items but even that aren't recommended by me. The electronics here especially the cheap ones should be avoided for your own safety.

Parking here is really hard and most spaces are paid. even for a motorcycle it is still not the most parking friendly.

Street food here are good. I got ice cream, some sausages and a variety of drinks to choose from.
