Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Rasah — Attraction in Negeri Sembilan

This temple is close to my heart. I grew up around that area as my mother's parents lived in hospital quarters, my mother's twin sister lived right opposite Dato Bandar Rasah Primary School which is also super near to this temple. On top of that, my dad has his office just along rasah road. Maybe that's why I feel this temple is more like a home to me. Navarathiris and Aadi month is my favourite time of the year & I would definitely visit this powerful temple for the divine feeling you get once you step in the temple 🛕. There are so many deities there, the gurukals are humble , you might watch bharatham dancers dancing inside the temple at times , clean, welcoming, a beautiful feeling that you might sit down watching the whole temple looking all calm and peaceful I wonder if thats how heaven looks like. 😀

I have prayed for too many things that I can't keep track of & I am fortunate enough to say that all my prayers are answered by the powerful mother of the temple 🙏🏾.

Since I came to Seremban in 1991 this is the only temple mostly i go for prayers. This temple is located in Rasah along the Seremban Portdickson road about 3 km from Seremban city. If you go to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital Seremban, this temple is about 100 m from the traffic light on your right side.

In 1987 I was addmitted for chronic kidney failure for about 2 weeks in Seremban GH before transfered to GH KL. One day after a special pooja two kind ardent deevotees whom I dont know from this temple brought viboothi ( விபூதி ) of the sakhti amman and placed it on my fore head. The blessings of the sakhti amman I am still alive for the past 36 years.

If any one having any chronic health issue and other difficult issues pray to the amman of this temple, hopefully you will be blessed.

The management headed by Mr.Chandra Segaran has done alot of improvements and its on going.

Komuniti sekarang terlalu melampau di koil mariamman rasah ini,tiada belas kasihan dgn budak sikecil, org komuniti itu memakai selipar dalam koil tetapi dia menghalau budak kecil yg tengah makan ditepi pagar tempat makan, dah lah makanan anathanam di beri kepada org sendiri dan ahli komuniti, dan juga dibungkuskan utk bawa pulang, ahli2 yg ambil kavadi dan keluarga mereka tidak dapat makanan, bila tanya je kata dah habis makanan,dah juga jadi masalah pergaduhan kerana ramai sangat org berbaris sehingga sakit kaki terakhir sekali kata tiada makanan lagi,tapi bila minta derma dari rakyat manis mulut org komuniti, tapi masa thiruvila,layanan mcm org terhina, tiada makna dgn org2 komuniti sekarang ,semua mata wang,org mcm ini harus diusir dari koil.makanan semua dibekalkan dlm baldi besar2 dan di bahagi semasa sendiri, tak malu...
