Its like an old hut when you enter the place. Its an old traditional house turned into an info centre on turtles. The informative display is indoors and there is an outdoor pool where some turtles are kept. The water is greenish. All they do is swimming in circles trying to get out and it's a horrible state of affairs to be at for the animals. This place is situated next to the beach. There is a fenced hatchery supposedly for hatching but I'm not even sure if there is any. The turtles could have been better off be kept at the sea and perhaps in an area be fenced off for that purpose. The tapak perkhemahan/camping site that looks like a BBQ site that I suppose is meant to provide a platform for ppl to be closer to nature and turtles while raising funds at rm50 to rent the space is a joke. It's an easy place to show kids how a real turtle looks like but not the most condusive for the animals. I left the space with...

Went here as part of the tour of ClubMed. Opens 9.30 am till 4.30 pm. The place is slightly run down and obviously has low maintainace budget. It has a house-sized exhibition hall with some information and replica of turtles. Attached to the house is a few small pools where some adult turtles and some...

If you decide to visit please plan at least a day ahead and remember to call up and ask first (if they...
