Taman Gelora Kuantan — Attraction in Pahang

This park is great for your usual recreational activities. It's not too hot here, the wind is soothing and blowing sufficiently enough to make you become less aware of the blistering ray of light from above. There's a lot of people here that jogs around the vicinity as well, so it's easy to make friends with such people if that's your thing. Quite a lot of food outlet here too, for those that wanted to grab a quick or a long bite. The lake around the area also looks particularly beautiful, though you may become bothered by few dead trees that fell into the lake that hasn't been removed for some reason. Greenery is well preserved for the most part, not too much noticeable littering around the area and you can heard the chirping of birds just fine. A wonderful place to go for your walks or jogging. Located close to the beach, in the silence n solitude, you hear the waves splashing. The sea breeze is for us to enjoy nature.

Here and there you see squirrels and hear the birds singing.

You see parents bringing kids and not forgetting the senior citizens who come for their strolls.

Daily you see some aerobic classes going on. You have variety level of Japanese stones to walk on too.

Old and young enjoy this lovely park. The convenience of a wash room available for men n women. Plenty of parking space.

What's so nuanciating to the ears is the sound of cars. At times, with constant wind blowing in from the sea, those seems to be dampen by the soft hum of the pine trees. Where else if not at Taman Gelora. There are brick paved tracks to jog on or simply, a quiet stroll alone and/or with your love one. Near dusk, it's hypnotizing just to watch those boats hauling in fresh catch from the sea, parading into the Tanjung Api bay. Must be the sound of waves bristling up against the breakwaves.
