This place doesnt deserve any rating at all, but i had to put at least ONE star for my review to be posted.
My daughter booked a table for 5 pax for Sunday 9th May for my mother's day dinner. The booking was done a week in advance and the process was ardous and (on hindsight) a total farce. We were required to pay a deposit (to secure a table), advised to pre-order our meals (so as not to wait) etc etc.
After making the booking, my daughter heard a colleague's bad experience at this establishment. Her colleague had made a booking a weekend in advance, confirmed multiple times, went there, only to wait from 6.30 (reservation time) to 7.40 pm!!!! it was Ramadhan and they had NO table despite pre-booking AND pre-payment.
Hearing the lousy experience of her colleagues and with a feeling of foreboding, on the SAME booking day, my daughter took precaution to also confirm our booking, our order and the meals. When we got there, there was no record of our booking because the "system" had crashed/offline/equivalent SOP lie - coincidentally, this was the SAME excuse given to my daughter's colleague that SAME week. There was no table reserved. Tables all around us were either full or left uncleared. when we finally got a table, there was not enough chairs (we had to get it ourselves), only PART of our order arrived, with NO cutlery, NO drinks (that we pre-ordered). The other part of our order took over an HOUR to arrive after MULTIPLE AND FREQUENT reminders.
This place is terrible. Do NOT go there. There is NO SYSTEM. NO PROPER MANAGEMENT, and worst still, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. For the price that you pay, i would be better off having dinner at Hyatt . DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR...

The moment we enter the restaurant, the staff open the door for us and greet us but they stand a way ask us to choose meat rather than bring us to seat and provide menu. I wanted had lamb chop rather then lamb loin, I did ask the staff whether had any original flavor lamb (without spices). He mention don't have so end up I was leave no choice but to choose the lamb loin.
The staff didnt show us the way out then we have to find it by ourself then we saw group of staff sitting and chatting and look at us rather then lead the my seat. So I went upstairs, maybe let people visit so the air cond wasn't turn on (luckily that day rain) then we wait for 5 minutes then the staff provided the menu then they leave us for at least 10 minutes then we ask only they approach to take order. Not automatically ask to provide service but we need to look for staff and ask them to take our order.
The meat was okay for beef but the lamb was marinated so the flavor was a bit weird and a bit too dry. At least there's a staff will approach us to ask for dish to collect, during payment, I assume it was the manager, didn't even border to stand up and greet or ask for the bill so we could pay. She just sit there and playing her phone until I call her 3 time then she get up with a annoyed look on the face to pay bill. Not worth of going back for...
Read moreSecond visit since the MCO 1.0. This time it was full house after the inter-state travelling is finally allowed.Arrived at 2105 hrs and order taken at 2110 hrs (Awesome!). The steak, fish&chips and spaghetti carbonara were excellent.However, our orders were messed up and after nearly an hour later, we were still waiting for 2 beef burgers. I found it unamusing as the guests who arrived later, got their orders before us. At 2200 hrs, we were told that the burgers were being prepared as some of the guest already left happily filled. I ordered the burgers to be changed as take away as it was already late, and my children have lost the appetite.As a summary, it was a disappointing visit. Staffs were overwhelmed with high volume of guests. We understood the situation. However, the mixed up of orders was not acceptable. The staffs sometimes were lost which dish was for which table. The order and kitchen management should be drastically improved. My family expected to have a decent dinner at the restaurant and not to have the main dish to be carried in a bag. To relieve the guest from disappointment, I propose if Sungei Lembing SH could consider giving some discount on the dish which was not be able to be prepared...
