Timurbay beach is a long sandy beach of dreams, simply breathtaking. An amazing place to catch a view of the sunrise. The sea and the sky change colour upon wondrous colour throughout the day, the weeks, the months, the seasons. To the north you can see Tanjung Gelang with Pelabuhan Kuantan container cranes protruding from the other side of the bay. On any given day this perspective is a sight to behold; on cloudy misty foggy mornings you can see a silhouette of the hills and slopes in dark green grey against the silvery grey sky with the sea that is even darker; on sunny days the silhouette clears itself into gradations of forest and jade greens against a blue sky and a glittering emerald sea. To the south is the wellknown Pantai Batu Hitam. Lined by casuarina trees the sandy beach is wide especially when the tide is low, makes it a good spot to bring the children or for adults to take leisurely walks. Hundreds of tiny crabs burrow hundreds of little holes in the sand leaving behind thousands of small sand balls on the beach.
