I would like to provide clear feedback regarding my stay at your studio, as the experience was far from what was expected.

Arrival Experience: I had a long business trip from Kuala Lumpur and had confirmed my booking in advance, clearly informing that I would arrive around 3-4pm. However, I was contacted at 4:49pm asking what time I would arrive. Frankly, this should not have happened. As paying guests who had already confirmed our arrival window, the room should have been fully ready before our arrival. We ended up arriving around 5:40pm due to traffic, and it was very disappointing to hear the room was still being prepared.

Cleanliness Issues: Upon arrival, I checked the room immediately to avoid any issues later during checkout. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was unacceptable:

Bedsheet was dirty with hair and visible stains.

Toilet sink had hair inside.

Floor was wet, causing me to almost slip while carrying my baby.

Sofa pillows were full of black dust.

Bed frame had thick dust.

TV cabinet area was dusty and clearly not cleaned properly. I have attached photos as proof.

Overall Experience: We almost booked a better-rated hotel like Zenith but decided to try your unit after seeing the high ratings. Sadly, the condition of the unit was a big letdown and made our short break stressful instead of relaxing.

This should not happen to any guest. I strongly suggest you monitor and improve your housekeeping team to ensure they clean the unit properly before any guest arrives. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, especially after a confirmed booking and advance notice of arrival.

I stayed for a 3D/2N at "Seaview Sofia Suite at Timurbay Residence Kuantan" via Agoda booking and had a mixed experience.

The unit itself is a beautifully designed with a unique and homey interior, located on the top floor of the right side of the complex. The check-in process was simple and easy. A complementary 4 coffee sachets, and 2 maggie mee cups were provided. Great internet speed & netflix.

There are many good restaurants located just outside the building: TMG express supermarket, SEDO donut, Shawarma house, etc.

You can ride ATV (RM 50 for 30 min) and horse ride on the beach, just outside the swimming pools.

What can be improved: Do note that this is a Studio unit, and the room pictures in Agoda DOES NOT reflect reality ie. no sofa bed next to the bed (as the pics reflected), no standing fan, the unit shown in the pics must be the opposite site of the building tower, etc. Cleaning could certainly be improved. a) There were some hairs left on the bed below the pillows b) There's a small room w/ a single bed and ceiling fan only (likely converted from a store room). It was warm, and apart from the bed, the room was dusty and very visible collections of dusts in all sides of three upper hopper vents. c) The balcony also a bit dusty. Laundry rack and detergents should be provided for guests staying 2 nights or longer (perhaps this was the case in the past as one of the past reviewers mentioned abt getting complementary detergent, but it was not the case now) Signs of wear & tear of the unit are visible. Room cleanliness is so so, can see ants in kitchen and bathroom, 3 lights were out and no fixing, tiny table outside patio is rusty and beginning to torn, bedsheet is so orangy that makes you feel a bit warm to sleep on it.
