To go to the starting hiking location, follow the Google Map, and you'll see Indian Temple, Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Devasthanam Batu Kawan. There is ample parking there where you can park your car.
Just right next to the Indian Temple, Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Devasthanam Batu Kawan, there is narrow road that lead to the top of the Batu Kawan Hill. You can either walk follow the narrow road path, ride your bicycle or motorcyle up the hill.
Besides the narrow road path, there are few paths of hiking paths (dirt trails) if you decide not to use the narrow road path and go for more challenging adventures.
At the plateau, there is nice scenery facing the Bandar Cassia and Batu Kawan Industrial Park. There are resting areas, and swings where the hikers can rest and enjoy the nice view. You can observed the second Penang bridge (Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam) from the plateau. You can also observed where eagles flying high up the sky.
