This is not my first time going to waterpark or theme park in Malaysia. But having on supporting local product I would say the management who managed specifically Waterpark was so so unreasonable and inconsiderate. We stayed at the Bukit Merah Resort which is perfectly fine. I dont have complaint for that. But this complaint was made just to highlight on the waterpark itself.

Here you go..

We came 5 of us. 2 adults and 3 children. And we understood of the rules of “no outside food are allowed”. So we left our food at the counter before entering in. The staffs on the counter said i can come and take my food and eat outside. Fyi, i have medical condition of which i can only eat no carbs, no oil kind of food. That was why I brought my cooked meal. As for my children and my husband we can tolerate on eating and supporting the local seller who sell food inside.

But what I found was, they only sell maggie cup food? Seriously? And all those snackings and the decent i could find was french fries 😑

And we decided to ask permission to go out for a while to eat at the stalls that just available at the compound of the waterpark (u gonna find extensive of stalls before entrance) and they prohibited us from doing that. Like really???

Cannot go out and eat outside but yet u didnt sell proper food inside?

And i think the management should review this. many of the visitors who came here were elderly ppl that wont be able to eat junk foods or maggie.

Hence, i am so dissapointed. I am still here in waterpark writing this review. We just cant wait to finish up our stay here since we rent the aircond cabana for 3 hours.

If you wanna be the kind of family-oriented attraction spots, please review this dissatisfaction and...

We went on a weekday so there wasn't a big crowd. Paid for a combo ticket of petting zoo and waterpark. You have to visit the petting zoo first before entering the waterpark.

The petting zoo was pathetic, there is no other better word to describe this place. There were no labels or names of the animals that were placed there. The sheeps were in poor condition, their wool was dirty, one of them had open wounds on its feet and it looked like it's dying real soon. The place is not stroller friendly. There's an area where they kept rabbits, guinea pigs, goats etc where you're allowed to pet and play with but these animals looked like they haven't been fed for days.

At the waterpark we rented an open air cabana for RM90 for 3 hours. It was surrounded by landscape plants so we got some privacy. There're ceiling fan, lamp, chairs and small drawer for you to keep your belongings.

Surau was really small (comes with wudhuk area) and can accommodate about 4 people at one time (6 if without physical distancing). The baby room comes with a play area but looked really old and dull.

Food was not allowed to be brought in but there was only one cafe opened during our visit serving mediocre food choices (cold nuggets and fried noodles etc, no freshly cooked meals) sold with affordable price range (RM5 for noodles).

As a couple with a one y/o toddler, there weren't many rides that we got to try. I would recommend bringing your own baby float or a safety jacket so you can take the baby with you playing in the river or...

Came here recently and was quite disappointed with the service and rooms.

Firstly, we had to wait for quite some time during checking in because they had some confusion with the booking. Also, they were 3 people but managing 1 booking at a time only. The service provided by the receptionist was unfriendly too. They also wrote down the wrong dates in the keys and gave up the wrong vouchers we bought the vouchers during a fair.

After got into the rooms, we decided to order room service. They told me we had to wait for 40 mins because of high orders which we didn’t mind. However, the food came in about nearly 2 hours later. The drinks & food were nearly cold. Called in the room service to know the update but no answer from them.

When we entered the rooms, quite a few things that we noticed which should have not happened. 1) toilet smells 2) toilet faucet leaks 3) shower head is not functioning well, leaks everywhere. Where is the maintenance?

Lastly, it is quite hard to find decent food around here as it is secluded. We called in to ask if there is ala carte menus and they said yes since we did not want the buffet menu. When we got into the food hall, they said they were no ala carte menus. So we had to take the buffet. We don’t mind taking the buffet but the resort should know what they were serving.

I hope the resort can take note of this so other people can enjoy...

Went there on weekdays so no crowd at all so its fine because i dont have to line up to convert my qr code to ticket. We bought for waterpark and petting zoo entrance. What i did see was the food kinda pricey but nkt match the price at all. If you want to sell please sell proper food suit with the price. Totally only kids portion kay! But nevermind. You can rent a locker to put your bag there or your important thing. Not important you can just put on the bench available. This is just to save up somemoney. No need to rent just to put all things there. If you dont like smelly thing i assure you not enter petting zoo. I do like some of the scenary but i think the zoo is not properly maintained. I could see the zoo kinda messy. I could see the lots of animal got skin infection. So petting it might kinda scary for me who got sensitive skin. Howevet, petting zoo staff was kind. He said we could enter the rabbit area and pet them. Also he offer us to pet the cat. Overall it is good.
