Kampung Air Water Chalet — Hotel in Perak

Came here for an anniversary break and to visit the Orang Utan Island nearby. The chalets are a bit expensive but very nice inside with a large bathroom (with big bathtub), soft white sheets and a balcony overlooking the lake. You can opt to take breakfast in your room instead of the restaurant at no extra cost, which we did. Breakfast overlooking the lake in the morning is my kind of relaxation.||The resort restaurant Le Lac was deserted when we were there for dinner (it was over CNY) but the resort was crowded with day trippers through the day. The buffet in Le Lac was very good and was different on the two nights we stayed. You can also get Char Kuay Teow made to order on the patio outside the restaurant.||There is a boat trip out to the Orang Utan island - 36RM for the boat inclusive of entry into the island. The OAs were obliging and the younger ones were playing around in the treetops. Humans are in a caged walk whilst the animals roam free on the island, though the young ones are separate from the "King" and larger males who can get aggressive. Room : we took an excutive suite, so we were provided with a small size living room. The interior design suits traditional theme. The sofa was a bit dirty.||Bathroom : Very spacious. The bathtub was big and lokked like a jacuzzi. In fact they also separate the shower, toilet as well as the bathtub. For me it was really conducive. I love it indeed.||Balcony : we had a great view of the lake. They also provided a dining table where we could enjoy the scenery while eating.||Staff : they served us like a king. They really took a good care of our staying there. For me, this will be the main attraction for the visitors to stay here other than the great view.||Parking Area : you will be quite surprised by the distance. The suite is quite far from the parking lot. If I'm not mistaken, the distance is almost 1KM. But, you guys don't have to worry because they provide a buggy to transport you from the suite to the parking lot. The most important thing, they will serve you 24/7.||Food : we got free breakfast. My very first time here, visited Aug 2023 for a big family 3D2N gathering & away trip. We had the whole trip personalised to our plan and booked all rooms at Kg Air, so it was like a private vacation for us (we even left the room unlocked while roaming around!).. Complete with 3 meals a day and food was plenty & good. We even had our karaoke session at one of the night over the bbq session. The best part as a first timer here - the room with the lake view by the balcony simply the best! You can spend whole time fishing! I have my parents (with special care/wheelchair) and they were kind enough to allow me to park my car inside. I truly appreciate this. (Kg Air guest has to park at designated area, and will be transferred with shuttle van to Kg Air) Many activities can be done here (with charges) and google has all the details.
