This is really not worth the time and effort to visit this landmark. It is left and not taken care of. The place is rather dirty with litter. No point really spending the time walking there. There is a car parking next to it. Saw a dead cat near by and it smelt rotten. Not sure what is the significance of this tower. I guess there is really nothing unique or special.

The Tawau Bell Tower is the oldest standing structure in Tawau, constructed by the Japanese to commemorate the signing of armistice agreement following World War I when Japan was an ally of Great Britain.
