Review regarding the poor service I received from the staff at Dozo Kopitiam Fajar Tawau. I visited the restaurant with my family, hoping to enjoy a good meal and pleasant dining experience. However, our expectations were shattered by the rude and unprofessional behavior of one of your male staff members. The staff member in question, who was wearing spectacles and the company uniform, greeted us with an annoying face when we requested to order. Furthermore, when we tried to order, we found the menu confusing, and the staff member did not provide any assistance or explanation to guide us through the ordering process. This left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the service. Moreover, we ordered the soft boiled egg, which was even worse when it was served to us. The egg was overcooked and turned into a boiled egg, which was not what we expected or wanted. This added to our disappointment and frustration with the restaurant's overall service. I sincerely hope that you can take this feedback seriously and make necessary improvements to maintain the high-quality service that your Sandakan branches provide. We have visited the Sandakan branches before, and we have always received excellent service and high-quality food. Dozo’s so-called Nasi Lalap .. is it worth the price ? Yes . Is it worth the expectation? Simply No 👍🏼 So I just ordered NASI LALAP and substitute white rice to butter rice. Here’s my sincere notes:

I really hopes you make a research about the menu that you will present to the customers, especially (Nasi Lalap) . Lalap comes from the Indonesian word (LALAPAN) which means eight types of side dishes(vegetables) or in Malay (Ulam-ulaman). No matter how generous you are putting 3or 4 pcs of fried chicken, half of hard boiled egg which is not important in the menu , 3 slices of cucumber , shredded cucumbers again with carrot and a single piece of lettuce .. this is still named fried chicken rice with sambal . But I shud give a compliment on your fried chicken bcs it taste different than the other shop and ofc...

came just for coffee time and had two types of buns ,the famous Tawau polo bun and the kaya butter bun.

Menu I tried:

Kopi Nanyang Ice – It was good, the caffeine really hit the spot. I ordered less sugar, but it was still a bit too sweet. Still, it’s fine.

Polo Bun – Perfectly done: crispy on the outside, soft inside, paired with just a thin slice of butter that made it just right.

Kaya Butter Toast – This one needs some rethinking. Mine was a little too dry, almost burnt, and served cold. But the taste itself was good.
