Let this be a warning to all, I booked a parking spot on the GL app only to arrive to another car already parked at the spot I booked.

When I seek assistance from the Quayside Mall concierge, they informed me that they can’t do anything about it (e.g., clamp the car although there’s a signage at the parking area which states that unauthorized vehicles will be clamped) and ask me to lodge a complaint on the GL app instead. Their solution also is to only unlock the parking once I arrive in front of the lot because I informed them that I unlocked it when I had reached the entrance of quayside mall 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s disappointing and frustrating that no immediate action can be taken. Luckily, I managed to get a different parking because the mall is relatively empty but I believe there should be better and immediate enforcement action taken by Quayside Mall management + Gamuda to avoid cases of unauthorized parking like this. If you are unable to enforce the usage of such features, there’s no point in offering the feature via the GL app in the first place- better to just offer free...
