15 years back , I visited this placed is sort of a secret hideout, whenever we said Hot Spring Selayang, not everyone know it's location, like the famous Templer Park Waterfall does. By the way, back then era, the non-smart phone era that doesn't had travel recommendations.

As I remembered, it is the most polluted hotspring experienced in my entire life, that I will never return to this place again, I swear... ; -It had terribleness dirty pool turned brownish-blackish that stinks badly with floating diaper in it with poop wrapped, there is floating poop I found, and parents washing baby's/children's butt in the pool itself. -Plentifully of foreigner were just jumped in and dipped whole body with anything wear as shirt/dress/etc not proper wear for wet water attires, even shoes was dipped in. -Some even treated the pool turned into cold swimming pool by stepping the pool till lost concentration of the natural heat cooking temperature. -I see someone bring along clothes to wash it. -And public area such as toilet/garbage non maintenance, poor car park. Is seriously awful and sad to watched , is very abused to the Hot Spring nature had given us.

Nowadays, after 10 years I had not been visit. I noted a signboard had to pay for entering. Plus already been not so secretive as 15years back. Just recently 3 years ago, my grandparents just know the Hot Spring Selayang do existing although the years thought is just a myth.

I hope this beautiful Hot Spring of God's creation need to be lessen up pollution in it. Should be more renovation on going and let it naturally. Need laws and rules to put up. The more open , sounds more pollution to me. Please maintain the public...

Overall is a good place compared to any other hot springs I have ever been and entrance only RM2 per pax, free entrance for children under 7 years old, senior citizens 70 years old and above. The big place is built with many places to sit and many pools with different temperatures, some is restricted to only allowed to take water out from it while most of all are allowed to soak your leg or whole body in it. Suggest to go before or during meal time like 5pm onwards as the crowd is lesser, the later the timing the more people in there and it will be very inconvenient for you to look for a parking lot, or wait for a long time to change clothes (especially for ladies) in the washroom as only 3 shower units and people will take a long time to shower. During night time there are different food stalls open besides the hot springs, mostly halal food but no food is allowed to bring into the hot springs area. Never went there during morning so unsure what the crowd is going to be.

p.s. Really affordable as RM2 per entry for hot springs that will have cleaning maintenance whenever it is needed, added maintenance...

Great place if you're looking for a natural Hot Spring to ease your stressful day.

This hot spring consists of several pools which accumulate the Natural Hot Spring water.

Hot springs can help boost your blood circulation. Back to those minerals! Hot spring water is flowing with calcium and sodium bicarbonate, which can boost overall oxygen flow and circulation once absorbed into the body.

A soothing soak can aid in natural pain reduction and rehabilitation. Buoyant, warm, mineral-rich waters that allow ease of movement and slight resistance are a favorite therapeutic tool. They can also help increase flexibility and circulate lactic acid out of sore muscles.

Healing hot spring waters can also improve skin irritations and conditions. The elevated levels of sulfur in hot spring waters offer antifungal and antibacterial properties that can soothe and even help heal the skin.

Soakers enjoy reduced stress levels. The many minerals in hot spring waters can help decrease daily stress.

Detoxify, naturally. Warm hot springs cause your body to sweat, helping to clear clogged pores and increase healthy...

very quaint makeshift natural hot spring pools and surroundings being upgraded, with evercise area, toilets and roofed seating areas, though construction seems to have stopped. water too warm to bathe in so small buckets or own basin are needed but rental is available. one deep pool is bearable for a dip if the water in flow is controlled. despite all the shortcomings, entrance and parking is free. with solar floodlights at night, popular all time because its only few miles from the city. far different from just a spring in the bushes 20 years ago. Update- Entry cost rm2 per person, parking is free. seems that the municipal has put up electric lights but the make shift pools remains. There are stalls for renting buckets, body masssage and food stall as well. They are mosly open during busy time (evenings or holidays)The bushy land behind the place has just been dumped with sand almost 10 feet high.

My recent trip to the hot springs was a truly pleasant and comfortable experience. Right from the start, the visit was stress-free thanks to the huge and wide parking area, which made finding a spot incredibly easy. The entry fee was very affordable, at just RM2 per person. Once inside, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire place was. There are many different spring water wells, each with clear notices indicating which ones are for soaking and which are not. It was good to see that some wells were marked "no soaking" or "no leg soaking," with a friendly reminder to only scoop the water to shower. I noticed there were even volunteers who helped stop people from soaking in the wrong wells, which shows the dedication to keeping the place clean and safe for everyone. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the natural hot springs in a well-managed environment.
